Parent Meeting

Tomorrow we will hold practice at 3:30. There has been some confusion, the list of players posted on Friday is not the final team. There are still a few cuts to be made tomorrow. Once the final team is announced, we will hold a parent meeting at 7:30 pm. We will need to check tomorrow about building availability -- the meeting will either be in the media center or the tech atrium. This meeting will last roughly an hour. It is a mandatory meeting for all players and parents. We will remind players of this meeting tomorrow but wanted to make parents aware as well.

Copper Hills Boys 2015 Soccer Tryouts

Here are the specific times for our soccer tryouts this week:

Wednesday Feb. 25th

2:45-4:15 Juniors and Seniors only

4:30-6:00 Freshman and Sophomores only


Thursday Feb. 26th

2:45-4:15 Juniors and Seniors only

4:30-6:00 Freshman and Sophomores only


Friday Feb. 27th

3:30 - 5:30 pm Combined for all grades


Monday March 2nd

3:30-5:30 Combined for all grades


** In order to tryout, you must have your folder on Wednesday. In your folder must be your grades and physical. Also, you must have already completed the online portion of register my athlete.

* Please attend your grade specific tryout time only
* Each night after tryouts, the names of players still being considered for the team will be posted
* Final Team will be announced Monday night (March 2nd)

Tuesday Open Gym

We have moved the open gym scheduled for today. It was originally planned for 7-10 pm tonight. With the weather continuing to be friendly, we have moved this open gym to after school today. It will be held from 2:45 - 5 pm outside today (Tuesday Feb. 17). This open gym is for Juniors and Seniors.

Outdoor Open Gym

With all this spring weather we will be holding an open gym tomorrow, Monday the 9th, for Freshman and Sophomores only. It will be held from 3:15-5:15 at Copper Hills. Please bring your boots (cleats). Please spread the word. We look forward to seeing all of you outdoors.

Preparing for Tryouts

We would like to thank all that attended the soccer meeting. The coaching staff is looking forward to seeing everyone at our open gyms that are posted on our calendar.

If you were not able to attend the soccer meeting and are interested in trying out please come to the coaches office next to the boys locker room to speak to us directly.

Important Information: The folder you received at the soccer meeting must be turned in before tryouts and must contain your report card for 2nd quarter with all your grades, and second quarter GPA. Written on the front of your folder you must have your:

• Name
• GPA
• Insurance Information

Inside the folder you must also provide us with a physical. This physical can be done with your personal doctor, or at school during the month of February. The date of the physical will be announced at a future date.

All other information and paper work must be done at registermyathlete.com

Important Information

The soccer season is right around the corner and there are a few important things that players and parents need to be aware of:

1. We will be having a mandatory parent/player informational meeting on Tuesday the 13th of January. It will be held at 7pm in the Tech Atrium.

2. All players interested in trying out this year must register at Registermyathlete.com -- We will be covering this in more detail at our meeting. Please disregard the forms we have used in the past. Everything will be done online through this website. 

3. We will be having open gym tonight (1/6) for juniors and seniors from 7-10 pm. There will be an open gym on Thursday (1/8) from 6:00-7:10am. We will have a complete open gym schedule posted to the calendar by the end of the week.
