Auction Dinner Tonight

The day has arrived! Our Dinner and Silent Auction is tonight. As a reminder, the dinner will start at 6:30pm. We would ask that any player planning on trying out on Monday dresses up for the dinner tonight. We have received some amazing baskets this year so please encourage all to come!

Open Gym Added

Sorry for the late post, Coach and I wanted to see what the storm on Monday produced. We will be holding one last outdoor open gym tomorrow (Tuesday 2/23). It will run from 3-5pm at Copper Hills HS.

As a reminder, those who are participating in fundraising, tickets are due today in the main office. We would encourage you however to continue to sell tickets through Wednesday. Baskets for our auction are due on Wednesday (2/24). Our Auction will be Friday at 6:30 at CHHS.

Tryouts will begin on Monday 2/29.

Upcoming Parent Meetings

Next Tuesday (1/12) we will be having our first informational meeting for any player interested in trying out for the boys high school team. A parent or guardian must also be present. Attendance at this meeting is required. The meeting will begin at 7pm.

We will be discussing:

- Our St. George trip in March
- Costs associated with being a member of the team
- Fundraising options
- Try out dates and requirements

A follow up parent meeting will be held the next Tuesday (1/19) at 7pm. Again, prospective athlete and a parent must be present.

Lastly, due to a scheduling conflict of gym space, we are forced to cancel next week's open gyms. This change is now reflected in the updated calendar.

Calendar Update

Now that winter break is behind us we are looking forward to our upcoming soccer season. The Calendar for open gyms on the right hand margin has been updated. It also included the tryout dates. We have also updated this year's game schedule. As a reminder, we will be attending the St. George Tournament this year. This trip will be a 4 day, 3 night trip at the beginning of March. Lastly, we will be having a parent information meeting in the next couple of weeks. We will post the date once it is solidified.

Parent Meeting

Tomorrow we will hold practice at 3:30. There has been some confusion, the list of players posted on Friday is not the final team. There are still a few cuts to be made tomorrow. Once the final team is announced, we will hold a parent meeting at 7:30 pm. We will need to check tomorrow about building availability -- the meeting will either be in the media center or the tech atrium. This meeting will last roughly an hour. It is a mandatory meeting for all players and parents. We will remind players of this meeting tomorrow but wanted to make parents aware as well.
